The Blackout Grenade is an unlockable belt item item for the Raider class. Its detonation disables the HUD of nearby enemies, disables base turrets for up to 6.25 seconds, and brings down the shield on all base assets for a limited time.

[edit] Tactics
- Since HUD elements are disabled on enemies who are hit by this grenade, it can be hard for them to determine who is friend and who is foe. In crowded situations this tactic can be used to create a rather chaotic effect, especially if friendly fire is on.
- Because of the Blackout Grenade's short fuse, the Jammer Pack is also recommended for its ability to allow the Raider to avoid detection from Base Turrets. This allows the Raider to be much more accurate with his throws against active turrets, and places him in a good position to finish the asset off.
