The TCN4 Rockwind SMG is an unlockable primary weapon for the Technician class. It fires a fully automatic stream of straight-firing projectiles with moderate damage falloff at range. It is similar to the original TCN4 SMG, but deals a higher amount of damage per bullet, has a slower rate of fire, and can hold fewer bullets in each magazine.

- Most do not favor the Rockwind over its predecessor. The original TCN4 SMG may do less damage per shot, but its much higher rate of fire and larger clip means that the total damage per clip for each is approximately equal - and the Rockwind takes 3.6 seconds to unload that clip versus the original's 3.04 seconds. The Rockwind, with 13-17% less damage per second, can be seen as an inferior weapon.
- If used it should be used in short bursts rather than continues fire. This will increase accuracy up to the point where it will be able to compete against a continually fired TCN4. The Rockwind's only advantage may lie in flag-chasing where the high velocity may result in a lot of misses and every hit may count. This however mostly applies to the lower ranked battles, as higher ranks will presumably be better shots.
