- Super Heavy is regarded by nearly all of the Tribes community as the absolute best perk to have when playing Heavy on Flag, as it allows the HoF to stay grounded when hit by explosives, and even kill reckless Pathfinders who run into him at high speeds.
- Surprisingly, many Sentinels have taken to using this perk in order to avoid being knocked around and missing their shots when an unexpected explosion occurs near them. Some Sentinels have even taken to being what can only be described as a "Light on Flag", essentially doing the HoF's job, only as a Sentinel using Claymore Mines, the Phase Rifle and the Rage perk in combination with Super Heavy.
- Defensive Infiltrators might even want to consider this perk. If all other defense of the flagstand is swept away, cloak and stand on the flag. It's also possible to intercept Pathfinders in the air with this perk, cloaked or uncloaked.
