“Several tribal curses were invented just to describe Infiltrators who sneak around enemy bases placing mines.”— In-game description
The Prism Mine is an unlockable belt item for the Infiltrator class. It is a deployable mine with a long "trip laser" which projects from a green crystal hovering above the mine's base. At a distance, the laser fades from view and the green crystal turns to black.
The Prism Mine is unique in the fact that full damage will be done regardless of distance from the base of the mine when the laser is tripped. Even tripping the very end of the laser will cause a full 700 damage to the target.

[edit] Stats
[edit] Upgrades
- Upgrade 1: +1 ammo (3 total)
- Upgrade 2: +10% radius.
- Upgrade 3: +20% damage vs armored targets.
[edit] Tactics
- The Prism Mine can be used in both offensive and defensive roles. Offensively, it can be placed in key choke points inside the enemy base, causing damage to anyone who passes by and deter players who come to clear the Infiltrator from a generator room. Defensively, they are able to effectively cover large doorways and can be placed near the flag stand with less danger of being cleared by a capper's clearing shot than most mines.
