Most of what is known of the Tribe's Ascend Lore comes from the characters themselves that players take control of. For example, the war that the Blood Eagles and the Diamond Swords are fighting is known to have been started by the latter. This is made clear by some Blood Eagle dialogue after winning a match, "We didn't start this war, but I wish we had!"
