The Falcon is an unlockable secondary weapon for the Sentinel. It has a much higher rate of fire and larger hitbox than either of the Nova Blasters, but deals little damage. The Falcon is a bullet weapon rather than a hitscan weapon, meaning that players must lead moving targets in order to land successful hits.

  • The Sentinel has several roles: eliminating enemy flag cappers,finishing off base-harassers in defense, clearing the enemy flag stand of enemy flag chasers, and harassing the HoF's (Heavies on Flag) as offense. As the Sentinel is rarely positioned near team-mates who can give support, the Falcon supplies decent firepower in case of duels, ensuring higher rates of survival and uptime for the Sentinel (especially after the patch when the re-spawn time was raised to 10 seconds).
  • When used with the BXT1 Rifle or the BXT1-A Rifle, equipping the Quick Draw perk gives a quicker response to ambushers. With the Phase Rifle as primary, the capacitor perk(s) generally take precedence.
